I had a delightful stay at Hotel Adua. The location is unbeatable, just a three-minute walk from the Ferrovia vaporetto station. The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was very comfortable with big towels and amenities like a kettle and hair dryer available.
No elevator access.

The location near the railway station and public transport is unbeatable. Check-in was seamless, with staff ready to assist. They helped carry our heavy bags up the steep stairs, which was a thoughtful touch. Our triple room was clean and had enough space for a couple and a child. However, the breakfast options were quite limited, necessitating an order in advance, which I found inconvenient. The lack of an elevator was a hassle, especially with luggage. Also, sharing bathrooms with multiple rooms might be an issue for those who value privacy. Despite these drawbacks, the price seemed reasonable for a night’s stay near such a vibrant area.

close proximity to train station, clean shared bathroom, authentic Venetian building
Inconsistent cleaning schedules!!! The amenities in the bathroom need updating, especially the malfunctioning tap!!! More storage space for clothing would enhance the stay!!!

The owner was super helpful, giving us tips and a map. Our stay was easy, and we enjoyed our time. The common bathroom was kept clean which was a plus. Definitely recommend checking out local spots and enjoying some pastries!
One downside was that the Wi-Fi was pretty weak, making it difficult to stay connected when we needed to find directions or make plans.

The Twin Room was decent, not too cramped for a couple. The air conditioning worked great, which was a lifesaver after walking around Venice. It was clean, and the cleaning staff did their thing every day. However, there’s no lift, and those stairs can be a workout with heavy bags.
